The Zoo

One of the big highlights of our trip to NY was our visit to the Syracuse Zoo.  It is a great zoo and I recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Backyard fun..

While in NY we did our now traditional trip to Fair Haven State Park.  It is always a nice way to spend the late afternoon - early evening on a Sunday.  The kids now look forward to it each trip.  When we are at Gramma Jamma and Boppa's, a lot of time is spent in the backyard.  As Evan said on the way home..."what happens in the backyard, stays in the backyard."

Wilshire Reunion 2012

On July 21 we had the annual Wilshire family reunion.  We all had a great time.  The weather was perfect and the kids were so busy playing, swimming, setting off rockets and hiking that I don't think they said more than 10 words to me the entire 8 hours we were there.  Audrey and Megan were inseparable and Evan and all the other boys were in constant motion the entire time.  We all slept like Murrays that night.
