Evan's "Top Shot"

There is a show on The History Channel that we all love, especially Evan.  It is called "Top Shot".  It is made up of about 20 men and women to start. Each week they are given different obstacles and firearms to compete in.  Someone is kicked off every episode until it comes to the final two and the do a series of obstacles with all different weapons.  These are the top marksmen in the field and it is fun to watch them compete.  John got invited to a special event where the guy who came in 2nd (Chris Cerino) of the show was going to be.  He took Evan and they spent the day with this guy.  John said there were only a dozen people there and E got a lot of time with him and of course, he loved Evan.

 

 

Christmas!

We had the best Christmas this year.  Started with a quick trip with the Murrays to the Great Wolf Lodge.  Then a weekend in the mountains with Gramma Jamma, Boppa and Aunt Bean.  I won $560 on my birthday at Harrah's, which was an added bonus.  Then spent a great day on Christmas Eve with my family.  Christmas day was the usual up early and presents galore.  We would not want it any other way.

The kindergarteners sang for the school (and parents) this morning then celebrated with a "Christmas Around the World" party.

Christmas traditions

We got a very nice tree this year and enjoyed decorating it.  The kids also did their yearly gingerbread houses.
